'This was a stationery and confectionery store, owned and operated by the Madeira Brothers, just below where Roger's Jewelry Store is now on High Street. They had the first soda fountain in town and were the first to bring the Pittsburgh papers to Morgantown. This picture was taken in the late 1880's. The gentleman seated is unidentified.
